How To Meditate Properly


First off you need to find a quiet and comfortable place where you won’t be interrupted throughout your meditation.

There are basically three methods of meditation;(i) Sitting (you could sit on the floor or on a chair)

(ii) Lying  and 


(iii) Walking


(A)Sitting Meditation:

When doing the sitting meditation ensure that you sit with your spine straight and your palms(facing up or down)

on you laps .(In Kabbalistic Meditation palms facing up is preferred)


(B)Lying Meditation:

Lying meditation simply involves lying on your back, with your hands beside your thighs


(C) Walking Meditation:

Walking Meditation is all about being aware of our body and physical sensations as you move.

your eyes are open and your mind and body are focused on the NOW.

Before you begin take a few deep breaths to completely relax the body

The pace of walking meditation should be slow .You may choose to let your arms swing freely by your sides

as you walk.  Sense how the earth beneath your feet feels within your body

Take note of all the sensation within your body.
